Following the announcement of the 2020 school placements, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially launched the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) platform for SHS placement.
Candidates seeking to check in the Senior High Schools (SHS) in which they have been put may do this through the dedicated website www.cssps.gov.gh.
“A total of 343,264 is automatically put in one of their options. However, 151,266 eligible applicants could not be paired by either of their options. Therefore, all such students must do their job of choosing from the accessible colleges,” the GES said in a statement.
The GES previously reported that a total of 494,530 students have been put across the country in various SHSs and Technical and Vocational Education and Training Schools (TVETs).
Out of 533,693 enrolled in the 2020 Basic Education Credential Test, all participating were among the 533,693 enrolled (BECE).
All available for self-placement must do so on the CSSPS platform after receiving an e-voucher from the provider.
