Management of the Ghana Education Service has interdicted Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School teacher Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor, for alleged sexual misconduct with a female student.
In a statement dated October 2, 2025, Head of Public Relations at the GES, Daniel Fenyi stated that the management of the Service had already interdicted and prohibited Mr. Tibetor from entering the school premises pending further investigations.
A viral video has surfaced on social media of Mr. Mfo allegedly engaging in sexual misconduct.
“Management of GES finds the conduct unacceptable, unethical and a clear violation of the professional code of conduct for teachers.”, the statement read.
The GES assured parents, guardians and the general public that the safety and protection of all students remains their topmost priority.
“Any teacher found culpable of acts that compromise the dignity and wellbeing of students will face the full rigours of the law in accordance with the GES Code of Conduct.”, the statement read.
The statement also expressed the GES’s commitment to ensuring discipline, professionalism and child protection across all schools in the country.
