The Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) has denied that any recruitment e-vouchers were sold.
The Commission stated that its attention has been drawn to details circulated on social media and short message service (SMS) regarding certain unscrupulous persons selling the Commission’s recruitment e-vouchers at GCB’s Head Office or by dialing 7181# on mobile phones.
GNA received an official statement signed by Ms Sheila Frimpong, Acting Director, Commercialisation and Communication Directorate.
“By issuing this statement, the Commission wishes to warn the general public that the above material is misleading and should be absolutely disregarded,” it said.
It said “The Commission, on the other hand, would like to state that all vacancies and/or recruitments are either reported or released on its website and in the National Dailies.

“Furthermore, all fees for application forms for certain vacancies and/or recruitments are rendered at the Commission’s Secretariat’s cash office.
As a result, the statement urged the public to be vigilant of such fraudsters and to send them to the Ghana Police Service.
“Anyone who pays money to such unscrupulous people does so at his or her own risk,” the statement said.
