The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has lifted the freezing order on five bank accounts belonging to Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources.
However, the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, stated in a statement dated Monday, October 16, 2023, that the freezing order for the former Minister’s other bank accounts is still in place.

“The freezing order is still in force and effect in respect of the other bank accounts and financial assets of Ms. Cecilia Dapaah,” he stated.
The OSP launched an investigation in July 2023 into Madam Dapaah’s suspected corruption and corruption-related charges involving huge sums of money and other valuable objects.
