“Bro, can I advise you, relax, relax, and relax because it’s going to be a national elections, that means that everyone would have the legal rights to vote and decide who he or she prefers to run the affairs of the country”.
Socrate encouraged his colleague to calm down and observe the good things that this current government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa has done.
He further asked his colleague to lower his expectations in the elections even though he may root for the opposition NDC, whom he feels victory would elude this time around.
In 2008 and 2012, the NPP lost bitterly to the NDC in the December General Presidential and Parliamentarian elections, which he describes as shocking as watching a Jackie Chan movie.
“If 2008 was a shocker, 2012 was like a Jacky Chan movie for my eye top. In a country where we support political ideologies like we do in football, bro, push, but limit your expectations” he mentioned in the open letter.
