Prof. Aaron Tettey Asare, the National Director for FGBMFI who presented the items on behalf of the organisation said the gesture was to complement efforts being made to contain the virus in the Central Region.

The National Director for Youth Development for FGBMFI, Felix Yiadom told ATLFMNEWS aside spirituality, it was important for physical support to be extended to major players directly involved in fighting the virus.
He noted, “We see it as relevant as a Christian body and members of the society to contribute towards the pandemic in terms of helping the Ghana Health Directorate because in times like these, this is the best time that we do not only have to pray as Christians and a fellowship but also provide materials support.”
Receiving the items, the Central Regional Director of Health, Dr. Mrs. Akosua Owusu Sarpong commended the organization for the gesture.
Items presented were 40 gallons of parazone, 50 gallons of Liquid soap, 200 nose masks, 1000 pieces of both surgical and examination gloves, 50 pairs of disposable syringes and 30 rolls of 500g cotton wool.
