Ruff Town Records CEO, Ricky Nana Agyeman known in showbiz as Bullet has revealed that his label colleagues are responsible for the fracas between two signees of the label – Wendy Shay and Fantana.
In an interview with zionfelix, Bullet revealed that “The scuffle started when Fantana was signed unto the label. People around my team began to speak ill about Wendy Shay to Fantana.”
He further revealed that there was an earlier incident between both artistes and required a pastor to intervene. He admitted that those who were found to have engineered the fracas have been sacked.
The visibly distraught label owner also expressed his disappointment over comments made by Fantana in one of her ‘rants’ on Instagram that “she does not need songs from Ruff Town Records anymore because their lyrics are finished”.
Bullet believes the label has made her who she is now and that she shouldn’t disrespect the label even if she has a problem with a label mate. He however confirmed that she will be exiting the label very soon.
Fantana and Wendy Shay have been engaged in series of exchanges on social media over the last week hurling invectives at each other with Fantana calling the ‘Stevie Wonder’ crooner a ‘local champion’ in a recent interview which has got the showbiz fraternity questioning what the problem is at Ruff Town Records.
The ‘Girls hate on girls’ singer believes Wendy Shay is jealous of her and thus wants to impede her success. On the other hand, Wendy Shay reckons she was first signed unto the label, has made hit songs and impacted the music scene hence she needs to be respected by the fairly new Fantana.
