A deliberate initiative to deploy drones to monitor the December general elections in Greater Accra region has been revealed by Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Ashie Moore claims that the effort’s principal goal is to safeguard the party’s more than two million votes and to strengthen monitoring systems to forestall any possible irregularities.
In order to influence the result of the election, the NDC sees this effort as crucial and aims to get more than two million votes in the region.
Ashie Moore said that extensive preparations, including the training of those responsible for piloting the drones, are already underway.
Ashie Moore informed her jubilant followers that next week they would be trained on how to utilize drones to watch the elections.

While details of the deployment are yet unknown, Ashie Moore emphasized the party’s resolve to gather all resources needed for a seamless election process.
John Dramani Mahama, the candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), echoed the appeal to ballot vigilantism.
“One of the key things in this election is going to be vigilance. We can do all the campaigning we want but if we are not vigilant on the day and don’t cover every polling station with eagle eyes, you will do everything you can and not achieve the objective that you want and so in Greater Accra in particular, we want you to cover your polling stations with the best party agents.”
