Ghanaian singer, Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor better known by her stage name Efya, has admonished the youth to work hard and avoid using black magic or sell their soul to the devil.
Efya was speaking in an interview on Accra Fm when she indicated that she had turned down a lot of offers to use black magic to project and protect her career.
According to The Best In Me crooner, Efya highlighted that it is very essential that one refuses to fall prey to the temptation of selling his or her soul to the devil because of the temporal financial results that could emanate from it.
Efya also cautioned against engaging in unethical practices and urged people to exercise self-control.

“It’s a warning I am sending out to everyone – don’t sell your soul to the devil,” Efya said. “There are many things that appear to be beautiful but you must not engage in them.”
Efya openly discussed her own encounters, disclosing instances where she was presented with propositions involving rituals and supernatural methods aimed at boosting her success.
Nevertheless, she staunchly turned down such offers, emphasizing that she is well aware of the authentic source of her success, and it does not require compromising her principles.
Remaining steadfast, she expressed, “I consistently dismiss such suggestions and make it clear that I am well aware of my true source, which does not demand me to engage in those activities.”
Observing that there is a current trend of resorting to unethical spiritual practices for success, she emphasized, “It has become fashionable these days.” She underlined that despite the numerous tempting choices available, one does not necessarily have to yield to unethical means.
The acclaimed singer, renowned for songs like “No More,” underscored the importance of avoiding unethical paths to success, asserting that individuals should resist the allure of such options in life.
