At saturday’s TGMA Xperience Concert in Cape Coast, Ghanaian rapper and hip-hop artist Maradona Yeboah Adjei, better known by his stage name Guru, brought more to the stage than just music.
As he amazed the crowd, Guru used the opportunity to highlight the value of education in determining one’s destiny.
He was fervent in his plea for young people to place a high value on their formal education, arguing that it is a means of achieving success as well as a key to opening doors.
He said that the young should avoid engaging in any activity that could divert them from their academic goals because they are frequently presented with temptations and diversions.

Knowledge is power, and we must seize the opportunities that learning affords and never underestimate the transformative impact of education.”
The rapper emphasized that it’s never too late to start learning by emphasizing the value of diligence and perseverance in academic endeavors and sharing personal anecdotes.
The rapper, who is well-known for fusing English and the indigenous languages of Ghana with his modern hip-hop rap style, treated concertgoers to singles like Mmaakuo, Lapaz Toyota, Bonsam Ani, Poole, Boys Abre, and Nkwadaa, among others.
