Safo Newman, a singer from Akokoa, has voiced his disapproval of what he views as false narratives about himself.
The aspiring singer claimed in a recent interview on Asempa Showbiz that people who don’t think anything wrong with him are only interested in using him as a prop to write fake stories about him that would trend and drive attention to their pages.
He mentioned that there have been numerous false headlines about him ever since he came into the public eye.

“l always say that people want to do anything just to trend, don’t believe any story you see. Bloggers normally create a headline just to get traffic for them. I want to urge the media to make sure they are writing the exact and fair captions for their stories in order not to cause damage,” he stated.
Controversial Ghanaian Dancehall musician Shatta Wale recently aired his dissatisfaction on social media, saying that Safo Newman’s managers and management are not making an effort to improve his appearance.
He pointed out that before putting all of their effort into promoting Safo Newman’s music, it would have been fantastic for his team to develop his image and appearance.
Safo, an Accra-based teacher at Cosmos Basic School, became well-known in 2023 thanks to his song Akokoa.
He has received recognition for his ability to write poetry and for fusing traditional and modern musical genres.
The musician is now working on a few new projects that he believes will have a good effect on the music industry.
