The Sanaahene of the Denkyira Traditional Area, Nana Dr. Essiem Kwakotan II has urged indigenes of Denkyira to rally around the traditional council to ensure a successful and befitting burial for their late Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III, Denkyirahene.
At a ceremony yesterday to launch the official cloths for the burial at Jukwa the traditional capital and Dunkwa-on-Offin the administrative capital, he said preparation are far advanced adding that the traditional council is waiting patiently for the lifting of the ban on large gathering as a result of Covid-19 situation in the country.
He further argued that the funeral of the king is a national one and under the present covid-19 protocols, it is highly impossible to set a specific date for funeral.
Launching the cloth, Gyaasehene Barima Siaw Panin III said the traditional Council is doing the necessary preparation towards the final journey home of the late king.
