The Kaneshie District Court has ordered that comedian, Funny Face’s cell phone be immediately released to him.
In his private life, the comedian goes by the name Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng. He informed His Worship, Kofi Oheneba-Kuffour’s court that he was bound by a contract with Lantan Soya Milk that required him to promote their products consistently on his social media platforms and that he required his phone to adequately execute the terms of that contract.
ASP Sylvester Asare, the Police Prosecutor who opposed the motion, said that investigations were still underway and that the phone was relevant in that respect.
The Court, however, was swayed by the distraught comedian’s appeal and ordered the phone’s immediate release.
