Charles Bissue, the former Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), has been fined GH5¢00 by the Human Rights Court for failing to make a decision on his case seeking to prevent the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) from investigating and prosecuting him.
In June, Charles Bissue petitioned the High Court in Accra to prevent the Office of the Special Prosecutor from pursuing him.

OSP launched an inquiry against Charles Bissue for his suspected involvement in corruption and corruption-related actions while serving as secretary of the IMCIM.
The OSP announced the fine against Charles Bissue on its X account.
