Church leaders in the country have launched a three-day national prayer and fasting campaign for the country’s unity, understanding, peace, and prosperity.
The program begins today, Monday, December 13, and runs through to Wednesday, December 16, 2021.
It is being held with the theme “Peace and goodwill towards all.”
A similar service was performed in April 2020 to pray for God’s intervention in the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Ghana.
The Christian Council of Ghana, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC), the Ghana Charismatic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC), and the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) are spearheading this year’s program.
To guide participants in prayer and fasting, a prayer bulletin has been developed and distributed.
