At 820 hours today, Ghanaian chef Ebenezer Smith, also referred to as Chef Smith, came to an end of the longest cooking marathon ever completed by one person.
Chef Smith started his attempt to set a new Guinness World Record on February 1, 2024, with the goal of becoming the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Despite his earlier complaints about the lack of attendance at his cook-a-thon, last night’s event went extremely well, including a star-studded lineup that included Praye Tietia, Yaw Tog, Amerado , Kofi Jamar, and Asakaa Boys.
Furthermore, Abby Creation hosted a fashion display.
Many celebrities walked by the Amadia Shopping Center in Spintex during this great challenge, including Kwaku Manu, Clemento Suarez, and Nana Ama McBrown, among many others, to help Chef Smith achieve the amazing achievement.
Chef Smith wants to break Alan Fisher’s official record, which stands at 119 hours.
“Happy Independence Day Everyone!” he said on Instagram, officially declaring the conclusion of his cookathon.I’m grateful for everyone’s love. This is for Ghana; it’s for us 🌴🇭.
