The Cape Coast Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the African Diaspora Development Institute has held a stakeholders meeting on an upcoming Wakanda one Trade Expo to boost tourism and investment in Cape Coast.
The meeting brought together stakeholders from security, health, finance and tourism to deliberate on how to make the region safe and convenient for Diasporas in the upcoming trade expo.
The trade expo which is going to take place in December 2021 is expected to bring people from the diaspora together to highlight ready to go business opportunities and share investment ideas to create wealth in the region.

Speaking to ATL FM NEWS on the sidelines of the stakeholders meeting on Friday, the trade and tourism sector chair for the cape coast regional chamber of commerce and industry, Samuel Obiri Aduama said the initiative is a beautiful opportunity for cape coast to sell itself and retain its title as the center for tourism in Ghana and attract some foreign investment.
He said “We are very proud to receive visitors into the region. All that we are looking for is that the whole of Cape Coast will embrace it so that the people who will come will be very happy to come back again.”
According to him the inspiration is to grow Cape Coast and as Cape Coast is the hub of education and tourism in the Ghana, things must be done properly to ensure Cape Coast and the region at large attracts more investors.
