The Cape Coast Youth Development Association has called upon stakeholders in the Oguaa Traditional Area and the diaspora to come together immediately and help promote development in the Cape Coast Metropolis.
According to the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Francis Baidoo, failure to tackle issues affecting development in the Metropolis has the tendency of driving away international investors who desire to support developmental projects in the metropolis.

Addressing the media in Cape Coast yesterday, he noted that there should be a concerted effort by authorities and residents in painting a good image of Cape Coast to the rest of the world.
“The association will not sit down unconcern about the distractive publication which has the effect of negatively driving international investors away from supporting a number of projects currently embarked upon. Indeed such publication continues to deprive the youth of the potential job creation, from the project and the overall image of the historic traditional town of Oguaa.”
