Camidoh, born Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, expressed confidence in his ability to consistently produce high-quality music like “Sugarcane” without succumbing to unnecessary pressure.
The Sugarcane crooner mentioned that his focus remains on creating authentic, resonant songs rather than comparing new projects to past hits.
“I’ve never felt pressured to recreate ‘Sugarcane’ or anything similar. I feel blessed with a unique talent, and I believe I make amazing music. So, there’s no reason to hold my work to the standard of ‘Sugarcane,’” he explained. “When the time is right, my songs will receive the attention they deserve because they’re truly beautiful pieces. If making music were a struggle, then I might feel that pressure. But since this is a gift, I’m not compelled to replicate past successes” he explained.

Camidoh believes he can create a lot of hit songs and doesn’t need to be compared to his old hit songs like Sugarcane hence he is not under pressure
Discussing the industry’s challenges, Camidoh stressed the importance of clear communication about the value of artists and their work. He argued that people are more likely to respect and appreciate music when they understand an artist’s contribution and the value a song holds.
“Our industry needs a stronger emphasis on communicating value,” he noted. “When people grasp the significance of an artist, a song, or the act of creating music, they’re more inclined to celebrate and cherish it.”
Currently, Camidoh is promoting a remix of his single “NLF (Nothing Last Forever),” featuring Coded from 4×4, while also developing new singles and projects. Emphasizing collaboration as a pathway to growth, he remarked, “Collaboration opens doors for expansion. Artists exchange ideas that foster growth, benefiting the entire industry.”
He shared his latest collaborations, saying, “I’ve got a joint project with Qwamina MP called ‘Before You Go,’ and I’m featured on S3fa’s new track ‘All Over.’ I’ve also done several other collaborations that will be released soon. I encourage my fans to stay tuned and support these new songs.”
