Bullgod confidently declared himself a “true man of God” after correctly predicting King Promise’s victory at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). Now, he forecasts that Black Sherif will take home the Artist of the Year (AOTY) title in 2026, criticizing those who doubted his prophetic abilities.

Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, known as Bullgod, made his bold prediction during an appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz on May 17, 2025. He emphasized that his earlier claim about King Promise winning the AOTY had come true, further establishing his reputation in the entertainment industry.

“My prophecy has been fulfilled. King Promise won just as I said, and now everyone knows I’m a true man of God,” he stated.

Following his successful prediction, Bullgod asserted that Black Sherif is next in line for the award, stating, “Let me prophesy again—next year, Black Sherif will win. Stonebwoy knew he wouldn’t win this year, so I don’t think he’ll be disappointed.”
The former manager of dancehall star Shatta Wale expressed confidence in his insights, positioning himself as a legitimate prophet within Ghanaian music.
Bullgod also took aim at fellow commentators Vida Adumtwumwaa and MC Yaa Yeboah, who had previously disagreed with his prediction regarding King Promise. He remarked, “The two of them have embarrassed themselves and should remain silent whenever the TGMA is being discussed.”
Despite his attempts to guide them, Bullgod noted they ignored his advice and criticized both him and fellow pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, who also predicted a King Promise win.
The 26th edition of the TGMA took place on May 10, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre, culminating in a historic win for King Promise, who secured his first AOTY title after narrowly missing out in 2024. He triumphed over strong contenders, including reigning AOTY Stonebwoy and rising star King Paluta.
