Award winning gospel artist Samuel Opoku, popularly known as Brother Sammy who has over the years proven to be controversial, arrived at the Grace Baptist Church at Amakom in Kumasi for his album launch with heavily built men surrounding him.
The album titled ‘Nka Adagyeℇ Bebo Me’ is his 5th album which seeks to lift the spirits of believers high in their endeavors.
However, his arrival at the church premises with the bodyguards got revelers talking due to the demeanor of the 4 men.
This development has got people talking and erupted loads of reactions from people all over the country.
“Even if no bodyguard no one will touch him”, Instagram user ‘phillipinaboafo’ commented on the video.
“Anokwa s3, na kyer3 s3 brother Sammy ibi 3hwehw3 no abo no anaa… eiii agor) wo mo ani so de3”, said ‘fantegirl’.
“Masa u guys for stop dis gospel musician de3 body guard sen”, user ‘starguccigh’ said.
Another user ‘kofioneil’ said “meanwhile he often comes to the mall alone or at most 2 friends around him.”
User ‘mikhael5111’ added; “please allow him, he came prepared in case Cecilia Marfo pops up”.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian hiplife artiste Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo, known to music lovers as Quamina MP says he is not a church goer.
Speaking with Amansan Krakye on Kastle Fm, the ‘Wiase Y3 D3” hitmaker stated that he is a Christian but going to church is something he has erased from his routine.
“Oh I won’t lie to you it’s been a very long time since I attended a church service. I won’t deceive you, I don’t even remember the last time I stepped foot in a church for a Sunday service”, he said
He added that, he is “someone who really trusts in God and does not joke with prayers at all”.
