Abigail and Afronita, a Ghanaian dancing duet, came in third on season 17 of the hit television program Britain’s Got Talent. Sunday night was the big day.
Among the ten finalists were a Japanese skipping group, a chorus, and a magician in addition to dance instructor Afronita, 20, and her apprentice Abigail, 7.
The winner was singer Sydnie Christmas. Jack Rhodes came in second, and Abigail and Afronitaaa came in third.
Sydnie, the winner, will get a £250,000 cash award as well as an opportunity to participate in the Royal Variety Performance.
The Ghanaian pair had already qualified for Sunday’s final after winning the public vote in the fourth semifinal.
