Blow Chem Industries Limited, producers of Bel beverages and Bel Aqua mineral water, has donated assorted drinks and bottled water worth about GH¢10,000 to the Cape Coast Central Mosque to support members of the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid after the Ramadan fast.
The donation was made in Cape Coast on Friday, 20th March, 2026 as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility aimed at supporting Muslim faithful during the festive period.
Speaking exclusively to ATL FM News, the Sales Manager for Bel Beverages in the Central and Western Regions, Mr Francis Darko, said the gesture formed part of the company’s commitment to promoting unity and supporting communities, particularly during important religious celebrations.

He said Blow Chem Industries believed strongly in the spirit of giving and solidarity.
“As I said, Blow Chem Industries, producers of Bel beverages and Bel Aqua, believe in the spirit of giving and the importance of helping one another,” he said.
Mr Darko noted that the company felt honoured to stand in solidarity with the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid celebration.
“In the light of that, we are here today to donate these items for refreshments that will bring them joy as they break their fast,” he added.
Message to Muslims
Mr Darko also used the occasion to extend warm wishes to Muslims celebrating Eid, praying for peace and prosperity for the community and the country.
“I wish them a very peaceful Eid, a spiritually fulfilled Eid and a more blessed Eid. We pray that this celebration will bring good health and prosperity to everyone,” he said.
Future support
The sales manager disclosed that the donation was not a one-time gesture, as the company had plans to introduce more initiatives aimed at supporting the Muslim community.
He revealed that Blow Chem Industries was preparing to establish an educational support fund to assist members of the Muslim community.
“This is not just going to be a one-off thing. We have added it to our calendar so that anytime the Muslim community celebrates their feast, we will also celebrate with them,” he said.
Mr Darko added that the company remained committed to strengthening relationships with communities across the country through initiatives that promote social support and development.

The Sales Manager for Bel Aqua in the Western and Central Regions, Mr Gideon Annor Boadu, said the initiative was intended to provide refreshment for the Muslim community as they celebrate the successful completion of Ramadan.
He explained that the company considered it important to support Muslims during the festive period, particularly by providing water, which he described as essential for good health.
“The donation is to provide the Muslim community with refreshment. They have finished the Ramadan fast and are in a festive mood across the country, so we are supporting them with water,” he said.
Mr Boadu added that access to clean drinking water was crucial, especially during celebrations.
“Water is a necessity. When they drink the water, they will be in good health,” he stated.
Future initiatives
Mr Boadu indicated that the donation was part of a broader effort by the company to strengthen its relationship with Muslim communities across the country.
He revealed that Blow Chem Industries planned to introduce additional programmes next year, including an educational support fund for Muslim communities.
“This year we did not prepare very well, but next year it is going to be bigger. We will introduce an educational fund for the Muslim community,” he said.
He also disclosed that the company intended to undertake clean-up exercises in Zongo communities as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Call for peaceful celebration
Mr Boadu urged Muslims to celebrate the Eid festivities peacefully and avoid activities that could lead to conflict or casualties.
“They should celebrate this holy Ramadan in peace. We do not want any clashes or casualties during the celebration. Let the festivities be smooth and peaceful,” he advised.
The donation formed part of Blow Chem Industries’ efforts to support communities and promote goodwill during important religious celebrations across the country.
