Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has called on film producers to make use of old actors and actresses like herself and those crop of actors who once blossomed the screens of Ghana.
According to Beverly Afaglo, so far she has appeared in only two film projects and finds it hard to understand why film producers no longer give her roles in their films.

“I think I am getting bored. I have done only two productions this whole year: ‘Yaa Basabasa’ on YouTube and one movie produced by Steve Ekeso. Where are the producers and directors? Forgotten about me? I’m a versatile actor oo. I can do it all. Or you say you want new faces? Or you can’t pay me? Try me,”

She made this post on her Instagram handle adding that a huge majority of old faces are not being featured in film productions.
“How many of the old faces do you producers and directors cast anyway? 80% ain’t working. What is going on? Shoutout to all the producers holding us down. The industry needs you. Keep going,” she posted.
Few months ago, Beverly Afaglo advised her fellow creative industry players to invest in businesses to be able to still make money when they are not working actively.
According to the actress, more people are coming into the Showbiz sector, which means that actors won’t be called everyday but if they have a business, they will be able to still have a means of making money.
“My advice to them is to invest in business because after the fame and everything, people still look up to you for many things and that’s why you have to tap into this. “In Hollywood, we have the likes of 50 Cent, Jay Z being owners of companies. 50 Cents has water, Jay Z has different businesses” she mentioned.
