Emerging Ghanaian artiste, Asomacy, has signed a contract with Sony Music West Africa through The Pep Entertainment (TPE).
The announcement was made public on Thursday via Sony Music West Africa’s Facebook page, following the recent viral success of his single ‘Why’ on TikTok and other social media platforms.
At Sony Music West Africa, Asomacy joins the ranks of Ghanaian stars like Gyakie, F3lineofficial, and Mayorkun.

In an interview, music executive Kwadwo Amoah (Pep Junia), who heads TPE, explained that they chose Sony Music West Africa because of its reputation for nurturing new talent and providing optimal career pathways.
“I’ve been collaborating with Asomacy for some time now, and his potential as a versatile artist became even more evident to me after touring the country with him as an opening act for rapper Kofi Mole,” said Amoah.

Asomacy happy with move
Asomacy described the milestone as a significant advancement in his career, emphasizing that it will amplify his ability to learn, explore, and release new music. “I believe this step will elevate everything we do to achieve that dream,” he added.
Born and raised in Kumasi, Asomacy’s passion for music was ignited by his older siblings, who played music loudly at home during his childhood.
He began writing songs at the age of 12 and embarked on a professional music career at 15. Reflecting on his future, Asomacy draws inspiration from personal experiences and societal events, stating, “The future depends on the effort and dedication I invest today, so I will continue pursuing what I have always loved.”
