Apple typically unveils new hardware in the fall, with this year’s event anticipated on September 9. The company is expected to launch the iPhone 17 lineup alongside updates for the Apple Watch and AirPods.
iPhone 17 Lineup
Rumors suggest the iPhone 17 will feature larger screens and enhanced cameras. Notably, it may introduce an ultra-thin iPhone Air to replace the Plus model. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicates this event will kick off three years of significant iPhone redesigns, culminating in a foldable iPhone by 2026.
iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max:
The standard iPhone 17 may see a redesign to align more with the Pro models, potentially featuring a 6.3-inch display and a 120Hz refresh rate, a significant upgrade from the current 60Hz. It’s also rumored to include a 24-megapixel front camera and new color options like purple and green.
The Pro models are expected to have a distinctive rear camera layout, with three lenses arranged in a rectangular bar. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro may switch from a titanium to an aluminum frame, reducing costs and weight. The Pro Max is anticipated to have a thicker body for a larger battery.
Pricing predictions suggest the iPhone 17 will start around $800, with the Pro and Pro Max models priced at $1,050 and $1,250, respectively. Storage options may be limited to 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, eliminating the 128GB choice.

Apple may also announce new phone cases, including a “TechWoven” line featuring improved materials.
iPhone Air
The highly discussed iPhone Air could be Apple’s thinnest phone yet, measuring just 5.5 mm and featuring a 6.6-inch screen. This model aims to compete with slimmer devices from rivals like Samsung and Huawei, potentially setting the stage for a foldable iPhone in 2026. However, it may only have one rear camera and limited audio capabilities.
Pricing for the iPhone Air is rumored to be around $950, available in black, silver, and light gold.
Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to feature faster charging, 5G support, and satellite connectivity, along with a larger display. Exciting upgrades may include blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection, although these features might be delayed for further refinement.
The Series 11 is projected to be priced at $400, while the Apple Watch SE 3 may retail for $250, with minimal updates expected.
AirPods Pro 3
Following the release of the AirPods Pro 2 in 2022, the upcoming AirPods Pro 3 are rumored to have a sleeker design, touch-sensitive controls, and an upgraded H3 chip for enhanced noise cancellation and adaptive audio.
