Apple is reportedly set to change how it names its operating systems, according to a Bloomberg report.
Starting with the next update, operating systems will be named by year. For example, after the current iOS 18, the next version will be iOS 26 instead of iOS 19. This shift aims to create a clearer and more consistent branding across Apple products. Other systems will follow suit, with names like iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26, as stated by Bloomberg.
