Even though the year has only just begun, Apple may already be “Sherlocking” to develop a new iOS app called Invites. Although there are currently few details available, this app may compete with Partiful or Evite.
Based on 9to5Mac’s analysis of iOS 18.3 beta 2 code, Apple may be developing a new method for sending out invites for both online and in-person events. According to the rumor, this software would be iCloud-integrated, and it would even have a web version hosted on iCloud.com.

Apple already allows you to send invitations for meetings and other events via the Calendar app. But unlike calendar invites, the new Invites app might not function properly. It may be a means to post a link to a page that presents event details in a visually engaging fashion as well as a list of invitees – think about birthday parties, weddings, school reunions, company-wide events, etc.
The story implies that Apple will be employing a relatively new internal framework called GroupKit to manage groups of people, such as invitees. Additionally, it mentioned that Apple might produce a mini-app for iMessage that would allow users to access the Invites app.
Users will soon be able to test out this new app, but the corporation hasn’t made any public announcements or provided any clues.
