In addition to localized English versions for India and Singapore, Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI suite, will soon be accessible in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese.
CEO Tim Cook stated that the company will begin supporting these new languages in April at the company’s Q4 2024 quarterly results call on Thursday.
The initial release of Apple Intelligence last year only supported English in the United States. The firm later added support for English in Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, South African, and U.K. localizations when it released the iOS 18.2 update in December. Plans to introduce its AI suite in the EU and Mainland China have not been disclosed by the company.
