Tragically, 26-year-old Enchanting, a well-known rapper from Texas who was born Channing Nicole Larry, passed dead.
Her former label boss and mentor, Gucci Mane, revealed the heartbreaking news on Tuesday, June 11.
In 2020, Enchanting signed with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 Records; however, she left the company the previous year.
Gucci Mane shared a touching remembrance of Enchanting on Instagram, along with a picture of her wearing 1017 chains. “Rest in peace to a talented young lady and a shining star,” he said as the post’s caption. Chant, you will be sincerely missed.”

While admirers poured their condolences via the comments section, some attacked Gucci, associating him with the unfortunate demise of Enchanting and the failure of other 1017 affiliates. Keyshia Ka’Oir, Gucci Mane’s wife, spoke up for her husband and emphasized his attempts to uphold Enchanting’s legacy and career.
Gucci Mane collaborated on Enchanting’s 1017th and final album, “Luv Scarred/No Luv (Deluxe),” which was released in November 2022. Enchanting’s close friend and colleague Lil CJ Casino also paid tribute to her memory with a depressing Instagram post.
