Zac Efron took to his Instagram on Sunday to reassure his followers that he is healthy and in good spirits, following reports of a brief hospitalization.
Last Friday, TMZ disclosed that Efron, 36, had been hospitalized in Spain after what his representative described as a “minor swimming incident.”
According to People magazine, Zac Efron was admitted as a precaution and discharged the next morning, confirming he was “doing well” and very healthy now.
Further details about the incident remain unclear. CNN attempted to contact Efron’s representative for additional information on Saturday.
On Sunday, the actor shared a photo on his Instagram Stories, showing himself shirtless while working out.
The timing of the photo’s capture was unspecified.
In addition to updating fans on his condition, Efron expressed gratitude for the well-wishes.
