“Can’t please everybody, unfortunately. I usually don’t address this, but I poured my heart into this performance, and I’m proud of the outcome! I’ve used my voice in many ways, but people often lack the full picture,” she wrote.
Amaarae also highlighted Ghanaian talent during her set, featuring songs from artists like Joey B, the Asakaa Boys, La Même Gang, and Eazzy. This decision was celebrated by many fans as a proud moment for the country’s music industry, despite the criticisms.
