Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, popularly known as Akwaboah never fails to amaze Ghanaians and his fans with his long-lasting tunes. Aside giving nonstop hits, he is a professional keyboardist and the hand behind a number of hit songs from various Ghanaian artistes.
His latest hit record; “Ensesa” serves as the official follow up to his previous track; “Mepa Wo Kyew” released in April this year. “Ensesa” has gathered over 76,000 views on YouTube since its release few days ago.
However, after the release of the song, Akwaboah has had to clear the air of some speculations about his “baby mama” claiming to have invested in his craft and made him who he is today. The highlife hit maker has refuted this, saying that he has “never been funded by any woman since he began his music career”.
Bothering on his style and choice of music, Akwaboah in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM stated emphatically that he does not do trends as some musicians are doing. According to him, “an artiste must be able to do danceable tunes as well as calm tunes and to him, he does both because his fans cannot be used to one style all the time”.
He added that the kind of tunes he does is something he would love to listen thirty years from now.
