Rosemond Alade Brown alias Akuapem Poloo, an actress who reportedly posted a nude photo of herself and her son on social media, has been warned to take the matter seriously by an Accra Circuit Court.
Mrs Christiana Cann, the trial judge, also told Rosemond, “We are not joking here.”
The alert came after the court announced that Rosemond’s counsel had written a letter demanding a trial date in May.
Today, the court was scheduled to hold a Case Management Conference (CMC).
Since Rosemond’s counsel was not present, the Court adjourned the case to April 6 for CMC.
Rosemond, a social media celebrity, has been charged with pornographic content publication and two charges of domestic assault.
She has, however, dismissed the allegations and is being held on a GH¢100,000 bond.
The judge, Police Chief Inspector Agartha Asantewaa, advised the Court that the new date was appropriate.
The argument is that the defendant, Mr. Bright K. Appiah, is the Director of Child Rights International Ghana, according to the indictment.

Rosemond celebrated her son’s seventh birthday on June 30 last year, according to the prosecution, and she took nude photos of her son, who was also half naked, and shared them on her Instagram profile, which went viral on social media.
The photos drew criticism, with some claiming that the accused’s actions were likely to degrade the character of her seven-year-old son and others.
The plaintiff petitioned the Director-General CID, and the case was assigned to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit, according to the prosecution (DOVVSU).
Rosemond was arrested, according to the prosecution, and admitted unintentionally posting the nude photo with her son in her caution statement.
“I am nude in front of you because this is how naked I was giving birth to you, so if you see me lying anywhere, don’t pass me by, see me as your mother who brought you to life,” the caption read.
Rosemond allegedly shared the naked photo of her son on purpose, according to the prosecution.
