The aspiring flag bearer of the New patriotic party, Alan Kyeremanten says the ailing state of the economy is affecting the party’s ability to draft a campaign message for the 2024 upcoming general elections.
He believes this will make it problematic for the NPP to change the minds of Ghanaians to vote for them in the upcoming 2024 polls.
He blamed the current economic crisis on how successive governments abandon policies they inherit from another government.
“So I would wish that for the first time in the history of the country, allow the NPP to continue, so our policies can gain roots while we do away with the bad policies. If we mean well for the country this is what must happen,” he continued.
Mr. Alan Kyeremanten made these assertions in his address during one of his campaign tours to the Sefwi Wiaso Traditional Council.
According to him, the NPP government’s policies such as the Free SHS, One District, One Factory, Planting for Food and Jobs among others are all measures to ease the current economic crisis the country is faced with.
He, therefore, encouraged Ghanaians to give the ruling NPP another chance to make history by voting for them into power to continue ruling after the 8-year tenure.
This he said, will help the NPP make even more strong policies to aid in the development of the country.
