Breman Essiam in the Central Region has enshrined Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, the Guinness World Record (GWR) star, as the Nkosuohemaa (Queen Mother of progress).
During the Donkese (Huge bell) ceremony on Saturday, Breman Essiam Nana Afua Asiwa ll’s paramount queen mother granted the title Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomatsewa (I) (Eloquent bird).
In her new position, she will be in charge of implementing initiatives targeted toward local advancements.

The mother of the supreme queen said ” …you have really made us all proud, we the people of Essiam and Ghana are proud of you. You are the first to be conferred with this title. We know what you are capable of doing, hence this recognition.”
“l am indeed honoured and grateful for this honour, l will do everything possible to ensure that we take the development of this area a notch higher,” said Nana Asantewaa Anomatsewa I.
