Bishop Stephen Kwasi Appiah, alias Jesus Ahoufe the prophet who reportedly predicted a hoax gun assault on dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, is due to return in court today, Monday, October 25, 2021, after being remanded into police custody.
He was arrested after predicting that Shatta Wale, a dancehall artiste, will be killed on October 18, 2021.
He was apprehended when Shatta Wale staged a fake gun attack.
On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah, alias ‘Jesus Ahoufe’ of the New Life Kingdom Chapel, was charged with inciting fear and panic. He did, however, enter a not guilty plea.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale and three other accomplices who were remanded into prison custody for a week on the same day are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Shatta Wale pleaded not guilty to the allegation of spreading false information and inciting fear and panic.
His co-conspirators, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator, have been charged with aiding and abetting crime.
They both pled not guilty to the charge as well.
