Adwoa Smart, a well-known actress from Ghana, has revealed a shocking detail about her background in which she describes how constant bullying and taunting caused her to give up on her studies.
Belinda Naa Ode Oku, also known as Adwoa Smart, was recently interviewed about her role in the Akan Drama TV series “Obra.”
She did, however, admit that she lost interest in school as a result of the ongoing taunting and mocking.
“I stopped going to school because my mates were laughing at me because of my size… It got so bad that I lost interest in going to school so I dropped out”, she said.

When Adwoa Smart denounced school administrators for at the time turning a blind eye to her bullying situation, her voice was dripping with hatred.
“The teachers didn’t help me at all. They were supposed to protect me, but they didn’t.”
The “Obra” actress explained why she didn’t attend a different school, saying, “It was beyond me.”I was too young to be able to make decisions for myself.I would have carried on if it were now possible.
