A new era of football development has begun in Ghana as ACT Sports Academy officially launches its partnership with Torino FC Academy, bringing top-tier European expertise to young Ghanaian talents.
The unveiling ceremony, held in Elmina, saw the introduction of Pastor Samuel R. Oyibo, the Director of ACT Sports and Representative of Torino FC Academy in Ghana, as well as Alexander Acquaye Jr, the head of the academy’s technical team. Acquaye Jr, a former professional player with experience in Europe and Asia, is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge to shape the next generation of football stars.

ACT Sports Academy has officially registered for the Division Three League in Ghana’s Central Region, marking its entry into competitive football. The collaboration with Torino FC Academy aims to provide a structured pathway for young players to develop their skills and gain opportunities at an international level.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Oyibo emphasized the academy’s vision: “Our goal is to nurture raw talent, instill professionalism, and create a bridge between Ghanaian footballers and European football opportunities. This partnership with Torino FC Academy will open doors for young players to excel.”
