Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, the man accused of killing Victoria Dapaah, popularly known as Maadwoa in Adum-Kumasi, has admitted to killing her because she owed him GH¢5,000.
This was in the prosecution document, which was read out in open court on Tuesday, April 25.
It was an emotional day at the Asokore Mampong District Court as police needed reinforcement to escort Inspector Ahmed Twumasi from the premises.

Twumasi, the inspector, has been charged with murder.
It was also revealed in court that the accused committed the act using a service handgun.
Asked by the judge whether he has anything to say, despite not allowing him to plead guilty or not, Inspector Twumasi said: “I have no intention to commit the crime; what happened is between me and God.”
He has been remanded into police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, May 30.
