A young man is fighting for his life at the Legon Hospital after crashing from the fourth floor of Mensah Sarbah Hall Annex A of University of Ghana (UG).
The survivor, named as Wahab Abdulai, National Service Personnel, is a resident of the hall at UG.
According to reports obtained, Wahab fell from his room after slipping while attempting to cross from his balcony to the balcony of the adjoining room.
It is unknown what precipitated the very dangerous step.

According to reports, he suffered serious burns to his hands and legs and has been move to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for further care.
Meanwhile, the University of Ghana’s Dean of Students, Prof. Godfred Alufar Bokpin, has urged students to maintain composure as police investigate the incident.
“I would advise each student to maintain their composure. There is no need for alarm since the situation is under control. The matter is under inquiry; the police and hall authorities are both concerned and attempting to ascertain the cause,” he said.
