Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician Great Ampong was granted Reverend Minister title by Ghanaian-American Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng in recognition of his commitment to using music to share the gospel and support the Christian community.
During Great Ampong’s visit to the American church of Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, the ordination took place.
Archbishop Adonteng Boateng used the opportunity of the church’s ordination ceremony to persuade Great Ampong to publicly apologize to everyone he had insulted in the past, especially his fellow artist Daddy Lumba, and he did.

Great Ampong has been a well-known player in Ghana’s gospel music scene for almost 20 years. He is renowned for his inspirational gospel songs.
Among his many popular songs are Hossana, Akoko Funu, and Style Bia bi. This new position represents a major turning point in his ministry and spiritual development.
