On Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Rock City Hotel’s Underground Night Club, famed artist Pat Thomas will be the main attraction for fans of highlife music.
Starting at 9:00 p.m., the event promises to be a memorable musical and celebratory evening.
A night of authentic Ghanaian Highlife music will be provided for visitors by industry legend Pat Thomas, who will grace the stage with his signature sounds.
Down Flat hitmaker Kelvyn Boy will be serving up some Afrobeat sounds to the delight of the partygoers, adding to the excitement.
Solomon Affum, Sales and Events Manager at Rock City Hotel, told Graphic Showbiz that the event is a component of the hotel’s bigger efforts to promote Ghanaian music to a wider audience.

“We have clients from outside Ghana who come to our facility regularly, and as a significant part of the tourism industry, it is our duty to provide them with something distinctly Ghanaian to enjoy and the Highlife Party, featuring Pat Thomas and Kelvyn Boy, will deliver just that to both our local and international patrons.
“It will be more than just a concert but a celebration of Ghanaian culture and a showcase of the country’s rich music heritage.
“Ghana music is Highlife and the Highlife Party at Rock City Hotel’s Underground Night Club will be a night of rhythm, dance and cultural pride, bringing together music lovers from all walks of life to celebrate the vibrant sounds of Ghanaian Highlife,” he said.
Tucked away in Ghana’s Eastern Region amid the Kwahu-Nkwatia Mountains, Rock City is a luxurious retreat including more than 600 well-appointed accommodations and exhilarating experiences like canopy walkways and paragliding.
Mr. Affum stated that the nightclub, which can accommodate more than 2000 people, is the largest in Africa and that the upcoming Highlife Party will be an excellent way to provide partygoers with an exciting and boisterous experience.
