Ghanaian highlife musician Kofi Kinaata says he prays to God instead of worrying about predictions regarding his life.
His remarks follow the publication of a recent online death prophecy about him. The preacher can be heard pleading with people to pray for Kofi in the widely shared video in order to deliver him from the devil’s tricks.
“…and that man that sings that they call him Kofi Kinaata, that represents Takoradi, the should pray for him. I kid you not. I don’t give prophecies about these musicians. I don’t do that. But in the hour when the angel was speaking me, I saw him and the angel told me he is the next they are going for. They will cut off his life prematurely if care is not taken,” he said.
Kofi acknowledged seeing the latest prophecy making the rounds on the internet during an interview on Joy Prime’s morning show, but he couldn’t be disturbed by it.

“I don’t even want to talk about it. That’s what he has seen and he’s saying it. Maybe me too I have seen it and I haven’t come out to say it,” he said.
He continued by saying he had gotten numerous prophecies of this kind since he began performing.
“I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places”
He added that he prays five (5) times a day, not because of the prophecies mentioned above but rather because he believes in Christianity and is weary of hearing it.
