Much to the surprise of many, media personality, Serwaa Amihere penned down an apology letter and posted it on her Instagram handle following her leaked sex tape with Henry Fitz.
In a statement shared on her X account, Serwaa expressed regret over the embarrassment caused to her family, employers, and loved ones by the leaked video, which she confirmed was taken five years ago.
Fans were greeted with a lot of surprise as Serwaa Amihere posted the apology letter on her other social media platforms.
According to the letter, dated April 24, 2024, Amihere expressed disappointment with her own attitude and underestimating her influence in the country five years back.

She explained that prior to the video being leaked, she was threatened and monies were extorted from her as well.
“On April 2, 2024, someone posted an intimate video of me on the internet. This came almost 5 months after threats and extortion, along with efforts by the police to bring the extortionists to book.
She also added that the 5 year old video has severely embarrassed herself, her family and all her loved ones and caused some damage not only to her image, but her employers’ image as well.

The video (which was made 5 years ago) has severely embarrassed me, my family, and my loved ones. It has also exposed my employers and the businesses and brands I represent to embarrassment.
Reacting to her apology letter on social media, some celebrities encouraged her while some fans went hard on her for being immoral and callous.
Some of her allies like Fella Makafui, Sista Efya encouraged her and expressed profound love for her.
Other celebrities like KOD shared love emojis to show support for her and to commiserate with her since she’s been troubled by the video since it leaked.
