Kofi Kinaata, a well-known singer from Ghana, has voiced sincere worries about the fact that Ghanaians are more concerned with their political parties than with the welfare of their nation.
He said that the current state of affairs has made it impossible for people to discuss contemporary issues for fear of coming under fire and receiving false political party labels.
The Susuka hitmaker stated in a recent interview that Graphic Showbiz was able to watch that many people are unable to express their concerns about topics that are wrong in the nation.
“Over the years, we have been sweet-talked to by politicians in this country but nothing happens and there is no change. For me, I’ve given up.

“Besides, the people are making things difficult so we cannot address issues because someone thinks he is for party A so whatever you’re saying goes against party A so don’t say.
“He is for party B so even if he’s dying, he will still stand for his party. People tend to love their party more than the country and therefore, everything is in a mess,” he said.
In addition, Kofi Kinaata disclosed that he has no plans to enter politics, despite being contacted by several politicians, including those affiliated with Movement for Change.
He added that despite being an advocate for “See Something, Say Something,” he finds it difficult to discuss the “dumsor” that has engulfed the nation in public.
“My workers at home call every 15 minutes to complain about ‘dumsor’ but I can’t even talk about it,” he stated.
