Actor Abdul Razak Amissah, better known by his stage name Zack, from Kumawood has made a strong case for creatives to practice strategic planning and financial restraint.
The actor/musician claims that not having enough foresight might put one in a difficult financial situation, particularly as they get older.
Based on his experiences in the entertainment business, Zack maintained that most gifted people wind up in unstable financial situations because they overspend and don’t prepare ahead, even when they are well-known and successful.
In a recent interview, he stated the following with blogger Zionfelix: “What I can tell my colleague creatives is that they need to plan their lives and that will stop the begging. Over the years, when I get close to a big man, I don’t do that because I need money from him, rather I go there to get ideas on how I can make my own money.”

“I get worried when I see creatives begging for alms,” Zack said, expressing alarm over the widespread trend of creatives turning to financial assistance. It is crucial that we organize our life and keep an eye on our financial expenditures.”
The actor also discussed his own method of practicing financial restraint, stating that he lives by the rule of only spending what is immediately available in his account. “I will not spend 2,000 if I don’t have 2000 sitting in my account, so I believe my colleagues should also have a plan for their lives just like I do for mine,” he stated.
