Many of MOGmusic’s fans, who have been critical of the gospel singer for his unbiased views on LGBTQ issues, are undoubtedly not fond of him.
When hostess MzGee brought up the topic of LGBTQ talks on UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday, MOGmusic declined to respond.
Rapper Okyeame was among the panelists who voiced their opinions by denouncing it, however MOG opted to remain mute, citing “pleading the fifth” as their justification.

“I plead the fifth because I wouldn’t want to comment on this issue because of the kind of job that I do,” he said.
“I’m saying this to protect my brand and image because if I say for, people will talk and if I say against, people will still talk,” he said.
MOGmusic retaliated, saying, “Yes, I know but in my private caucus, I can speak about this matter so I plead the fifth,” when MzGee pressed him more for his opinion to “stand for something.”
The gospel singer has come under fire for preferring to uphold his brand and reputation over his Christian beliefs rather than openly denouncing the practice.
