Ghana’s renowned culinary expert, Chef Abdul-Razak, affectionately known as Chef Faila, has not quite reached her ambitious goal of securing the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.
Despite her valiant effort of dedicating an impressive 227 hours to the cause, which drew supportive crowds from Tamale, Ghana, Chef Faila fell short. Throughout the span of 10 days, she tirelessly prepared and served over 200 meals to orphans and vulnerable individuals.
Having gracefully concluded her cooking marathon, Chef Faila’s team released a statement acknowledging her inability to meet the stringent criteria set by the Guinness World Record.

Nonetheless, Chef Faila expressed her sincere gratitude to the people of Ghana for their unwavering support and encouragement during her endeavor.

In a press release, she expressed her disappointment but was also quick to acknowledge her sponsors and supporters for being there for her throughout the entire journey.
Despite her impressive commitment of 227 hours, during which she cooked and served over 200 meals to orphans and vulnerable individuals in Tamale, Ghana, she ultimately did not meet the rigorous criteria set by Guinness World Records.
