Ghanaian musician Kwame Kaakyire Fosu, better known by his stage name KK Fosu, has opened up about his time away from the music industry. He says he wasn’t releasing any new songs last year because he was carefully crafting a special project for his fans.
The celebrated artist has finally released the much awaited “Back to Sender” music project. Saffbeatz produced the song, and the renowned Appietus mixed and mastered it.
Over the years, the musical chemistry between KK Fosu and Appietus has produced timeless hit singles, and “Back to Sender” is no exception.
“I want to use this music project to announce my comeback in the music scene, and this is just the start. I have exciting collaborations with some of Ghana’s finest, and I believe this year will be my year,” he expressed.
Speaking about his new single “Back to Sender,” KK Fosu explained that the song’s concept represents its intention, as he addresses naysayers who have continuously called for his demise.

“This is a redemption tune, and I want to send a clear signal to my followers and music lovers that I will never stop what I am doing and will continue to churn out more music,” he asserted.

Later this year, KK Fosu’s Dstyle Global music brand, under the management of Bizzle Entertainment, will celebrate his 25-year career in the music business with a number of events.
